SINCE I FEED MY DOGS NUPRO VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS WITH EVERY MEAL AND IT'S A BROWN POWDER AND YOU MIX INTO THE FOOD WITH A LITTLE WARM WATER IT TENDS TO MAKE MY WHITE MALTESE'S MUSTACHE BROWN ALSO WHICH IS JUST PLAIN GROSS, SO I BOUGHT THIS STUFF TO USE TO CLEAN THAT STAIN OFF. IT DOES A FAIR JOB OF CLEANING BUT NOT AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD AND ALSO IT SAYS ON THE DIRECTIONS TO KEEP AWAY FROM THE EYES. THIS STUFF IS FOR CLEANING FUR STAINS CAUSED BY TEARS SO IT SHOULD NOT HAVE A WARNING TO NOT GET NEAR EYES I WOULD THINK SO.. I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANYMORE SINCE I'M TOO AFRAID OF THE WARNING. NOT SAFE TO USE NEAR THE EYES, WELL WHERE DO TEAR STAINS COME FROM? THE EYES RIGHT... THIS STUFF SHOULD BE SAFE TO USE NEAR THE EYE AND IT WARNS ITS NOT!!!
Snergy Tear & Stain Remover

This is a pretty good product--the best I've ever used on our white poodle. While it doesn't totally eliminate the stains by his eyes, it does a good job of softening the eye discharge, which makes it easier to remove and to clean up the area around the eyes. The little brush that comes with the product is easy to use, too. I would buy this product again. If you have white or light color dogs needing cleaning around the eyes, this is worth a try.

Angel Eyes really decreased the amount of staining on our Schnoodle puppy almost immediately. And it does not take very much of it sprinkled on her food to make that difference.
Didn't work for me

My puppy's tear stains weren't that bad, but this didn't work on him. You must have to really scrub like mad with this product and I just used the brush that it came with and held the dog down and brushed many times. I saw no improvement. I used Angel's Eyes the same day and the tearing stopped within a couple of days. I wouldn't waste my money again, just get the angel's eyes and cut the stained fur when it has grown out some.
