 A warm and flattering coat for fashion-forward pooches |

I had heard good things about Fido Fleece coats for a number of years from other dog owners, but never had reason to purchase one. I have always either had long-haired dogs or lived in more mild climates. Then this summer our family relocated to an area that--gasp!--actually has winter. As autumn rolled around, our short-haired pooch began to complain about the temperature change. So, we decided to give a Fido Fleece coat a try.
Pros:
- Easy to put on. The back has a velcro closure, which makes putting this coat on and taking it off a breeze.
- Warm. It's thick and does a fine job of keeping our dog comfortable. No more shaking and shivering.
- Comfortable. The dog doesn't mind wearing it and doesn't fuss over it.
- Easy to move around in. Our dog can run and play without being inhibited.
- Attractive. The cute designs and colour options of these coats makes everyone who sees my dog smile warmly. The dog has started to strut around in them, which I have mixed feelings over.
- Easy to clean in washer/dryer. No need to worry about the dog rolling in mud while wearing the coat. Let your dog let loose and have fun.
- Many great size options. It was not hard to find coats that fit my dog, which cannot always be said of other canine clothing. My dog has a deep, narrow chest, which can be difficult to fit comfortably. He's also rather big, weighing in at 63 lbs. There just aren't enough options for big or deep-chested dogs, which is a real shame.
- Very reasonably priced here at Amazon.
Cons:
- Gave my dog an attitude. He now struts around while wearing them.
- The cat wants one. |

| These coats are wonderful. They are easy to get on and off the pooch and because they close on the top they don't catch the fur in the velcro closure. They keep my pet cleaner and dry even though we live in the "frozen northeast" and walk in the snow and grit every day. Me and my poodles get out every day and look good too! |

Great winter coat

| This coat is very nice, although the older ones are a bit thinner which I prefer. This looked great on my vizsla who will not stay outside in the winter unless she has a coat on. Have used Fido Fleece for years and it washes and wears the best. |

| My little boy dog looks totally adorable in this coat. It's really easy to get on and off him. It's a great value as it is very well made and keeps him warm. It's really easy to launder. I'm glad that I bought it. |
